Monitoring of moorings shows successful regrowth

A study performed by Newcastle University has shown complete re-growth of seagrass over mooring scours at Shoal Bay, New South Wales.

The study was conducted over three years where existing dump weight and chain moorings were replaced with our Seagrass Friendly System. At the conclusion of the study it was found that there has been enough re-growth of the seagrass to make it impossible to locate of the pre existing scour.

There have been three other tests performed at Pittwater, Many (sydney) and in Moreton Bay. All have shown seagrass recovery, vessel security and an increase in  sealife biodiversity after the mooring has been replaced.
